Important: Information concerning the coronavirus

Dear,

The coronavirus continues to develop in the Netherlands. The rules issued by the government and RIVM are increasingly strict. On Sunday, March 15, another press conference was held to communicate the coronavirus policy. The announcement was that schools, restaurants, cafés and childcare locations will be closed. This is necessary to further contain the virus.

Yacht Group is a people business. Every day we work for and with many people. We want to keep you informed of developments. Because we are committed to your health. This email sets out what to do and where you can ask questions.

Please observe the instructions issued by your client company

You are subject to the measures of the client company you are currently working at. In general, the measures of your client company will be in line with the instructions issued by the RIVM and the central authorities. Do you have symptoms such as nasal issues, coughing, a sore throat or a fever? Then the advice is to stay at home and work from home. Please contact your client company to discuss the decision, and report to your BMC contact accordingly. Together with you and your client, we will then determine the best course of action.

We understand that the decision to close schools and childcare is an additional challenge, certainly for zzp contractor partners with relatively young children. We hope that everyone will succeed in going the extra mile in flexibility and creativity in their assignments with our clients, and that it can be combined with getting things organized at home.

Please note: healthcare personnel is subject to different instructions, in accordance with the RIVM guidelines.

Your BMC contact can be reached both by telephone and by email

As from today, all BMC office employees are working from home. This is the best way to make sure we can continue working for our professionals, advisors, you and our clients. Our branch offices are closed as from today. But we are ready to assist you by telephone or by email. This measure will apply at least until Monday, April 6th.

How you can help

The most important measures you can take to help contain the coronavirus are still the same:

  • Do not shake hands. Wash hands frequently.
  • Dry your hands with a paper tissue. Then discard it immediately.
  • Cough and sneeze on the inside of your elbow.
  • Use paper tissues.
  • Keep your workplace clean. Consider contact with objects such as phones, keyboards or door handles.
  • Avoid intensive social contact.
  • Do not attend any events where more than 100 persons will be in a single place.
  • Be very careful when visiting people who are vulnerable to the coronavirus.

If you have any questions, and what’s next

Do you have any questions? Maybe about the coronavirus, or about your assignment for the client company? We can assist you. Please do not hesitate to contact us. Is it hard to get hold of us by phone? Then send an email. It may take a little longer than normal before you get a reply. But we do our very best to answer your question as soon as possible.

Naturally, I hope that everyone takes measures to make sure you stay as fit and healthy as possible. This will be a challenging period and a new context for all of us.
